Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath message of condolence, Sri Lanka conveyed its heartfelt sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones in the incident and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured. The Government and people of Sri Lanka extended solidarity with all those affected during this difficult time.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and the wider community. May they find strength, comfort and peace in the face of this profound tragedy,” the message said.
Sri Lanka reaffirmed its support to the people of Canada as they mourn the loss and recover from the incident.
