Mahiyanganaya 96-Acre land to be developed as industrial & commercial zone

The 96-acre land in Mahiyanganaya belonging to the Lanka Ceramic Corporation is set to be developed as an industrial and commercial zone.

Minister Sunil Handunnetti recently conducted an inspection visit to review the necessary arrangements for initiating the project. Member of Parliament Sudath Balagalla and a group of government officials also joined the visit.

During the inspection, the Minister instructed officials to expedite the preparatory work required to commence the project without delay.

Meanwhile, a new ornamental fish feed production project was declared open in the Madurawala, Nahalla Katuhena area. The project was inaugurated under the patronage of Member of Parliament Nandana Padmakumara.

An investment of Rs. 3.6 million has been made for the establishment of this project.
