Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) rolled out its premium passenger facilitation services yesterday as the historic Captain’s Choice Qantas Airlines flight on the famed Kangaroo Route arrived with 142 passengers on board.
Airport officials said the visiting travelers were ushered through the exclusive Silk Route Arrival Facility, receiving expedited clearance and personalized assistance from the moment of disembarkation to airport exit.
The Silk Route service — BIA’s dedicated fast-track offering — is designed to streamline arrival formalities while delivering a high-end airport experience marked by speed, comfort, and efficiency.
Sri Lanka Airports also invited passengers to make use of the premium facility by reserving the Silk Route Fast Track service in advance via the airport’s official website.
