The weapons were recovered in a joint operation carried out by officers of the Special Task Force (STF) and Army Intelligence.
Following the discovery, the three rocket launchers were handed over to the Valachchenai Police for further investigations. The Special Task Force is continuing inquiries to determine how the weapons were concealed and any links to criminal or subversive activities.
