Ordinary Level tuition classes banned from midnight on February 11

The Department of Examinations has announced that all tuition classes, workshops and seminars related to the 2025 (2026) G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination will be banned with effect from midnight on February 11.

The Department stated that conducting lectures, seminars or workshops relevant to the examination subjects during this period is strictly prohibited.

It further noted that printing or distributing question papers containing so-called “guess questions,” publishing posters, banners or handouts through electronic or print media claiming that examination questions or similar questions will be given, or possessing such materials, is also banned.

The Department emphasized that any individual, institution or party acting in violation of these regulations will be deemed guilty of an offence.
