Nuwara Eliya has been ranked second on digital travel platform Agoda’s list of must-visit hill stations in Asia, highlighting its growing appeal among travelers seeking cooler climates and scenic retreats.

Often referred to as “Little England,” the Sri Lankan hill station was recognized for its lush tea plantations, cool weather and well-preserved colonial-era architecture. Agoda noted that Nuwara Eliya continues to attract visitors looking to relax in serene surroundings while exploring tea gardens and historic buildings.

Agoda’s list features hill stations across Asia known for their tranquil settings and distinctive cultural and natural attractions. India’s Shimla tops the list, followed by Nuwara Eliya, with other destinations including Cameron Highlands, Sapa, Bandung, Thimphu, Munnar and Dalat.
