Assistant Superintendent of Police Rohan Olugala is currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Colombo National Hospital, according to reports.
He was initially admitted to the Kotelawala Defence University Hospital after falling ill on the night of the 30th. Following preliminary treatment, he was later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further medical care.
The transfer was carried out after a team of specialist doctors examined him on the instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasuriya.
