Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organizer and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today, where a statement was recorded as part of an ongoing probe into alleged underworld figure “Kehelbaddara Padme.”
Police sources said the inquiry focuses on gathering information related to the activities and possible connections of the suspect, who is believed to be involved in organized criminal operations.
Authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the nature of the statement or the progress of the investigation.
