The vessel arrived in Sri Lanka from Thailand, bringing a total of 2,171 international tourists to the island.
During their visit, the tourists took part in excursions to several popular attractions in the southern region, including Yala National Park, Udawalawa National Park, Kataragama, Bundala National Park, and the Hambantota Botanical Garden, along with other nearby tourist destinations.
To facilitate convenient travel for the visitors, special transportation services were arranged by the Ruhunu Tourism Bureau in collaboration with the Hambantota Municipal Council.
Authorities stated that such arrivals contribute positively to the tourism industry and help promote the southern region as a key travel destination in Sri Lanka.
