Fast bowler Eshan Malinga has been ruled out of the third T20I of the England Tour of Sri Lanka 2026 due to a left shoulder injury.
Malinga sustained a shoulder dislocation while bowling during the second T20I of the series. As a result, he will not be available for selection for the upcoming match.
He is scheduled to return to Colombo today, where he will undergo an MRI scan to assess the severity of the injury and determine the next course of medical treatment.
