Israeli Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Nimal Bandara, said that the Israeli Embassy in Colombo will remain open today (31) despite the ongoing war situation in the Middle East.

In a post shared on his official Facebook account, the Ambassador stated that the embassy will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. to provide Sri Lankan nationals with information on the current security situation.

He further noted that the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel and the Israeli Ministry of Defense are maintaining continuous communication and exchanging information regarding developments related to the conflict.

Ambassador Bandara also said that emergency alerts regarding missile attacks are being sent to all mobile phones to ensure public safety and preparedness in case of emergencies.
