The “Sip to Fit” mobile application was officially launched on January 28 at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

The app is designed as a hydration tracker, allowing athletes to monitor how much water and sodium their bodies lose during training through sweat. In addition, the app can be used to manage and track athletes’ nutrition.

The application was developed under the guidance of Consultant Nutritionist Dr. Hashan Amarathunga from a medical research institute.

The launch event was officiated by Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamge.
