Installed with the support of the Japanese government, these gates will allow immigration procedures to be completed more efficiently.
The deputy minister noted that travelers entering the country can have their information checked and necessary approvals granted within minutes through these gates.
He also mentioned that an additional four electronic gates are planned to be installed in the near future.
