The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has warned that unless there is a meaningful intervention to resolve their ongoing concerns, they will escalate their industrial action within the next 48 hours.

The GMOA’s Central Committee convened today (28) and granted the Executive Committee full authority to decide on future measures. During the meeting, it was resolved to continue the current industrial actions uninterrupted.

As part of the ongoing action, doctors will continue to refrain from bringing in medicines from outside hospitals and will not participate in health camps organized by political groups.
