According to police, the incident occurred near a preschool in the Tsunamiwatta area of Galagoda. One individual sustained injuries in the shooting and was admitted to hospital for treatment. The victim’s condition has not been disclosed.
The Ambalangoda Police have launched further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify those responsible.
