Sri Lanka is set to receive a steady supply of essential medicines for childhood cancer patients through an upcoming three-year agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr. Senaka Thalagala, Director of the National Cancer Control Program, said the agreement will play a crucial role in improving treatment continuity and outcomes for young cancer patients across the country. He emphasized that the initiative will help hospitals maintain consistent care and reduce treatment interruptions caused by medicine shortages.
