Former Acting Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Colombo, Dr. Rukshan Bellana, appeared before the CID this morning (27) and left after recording a statement regarding an incident involving a death threat.
Dr. Bellana was recently suspended by the Ministry of Health following preliminary investigations into alleged unauthorized media statements that caused public unrest.
