During the meeting, both sides reviewed the progress of agreements reached previously, with particular focus on energy-related initiatives, and explored opportunities to establish new partnerships in relevant fields.
Discussions also covered future work linked to the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year between Sri Lanka, India and the United Arab Emirates, especially projects related to the Trincomalee area.
In addition, the two parties exchanged views on strengthening regional energy security and extending cooperation to support Sri Lanka’s energy goals.
