During the discussion, attention was focused on the current situation in Sri Lanka, with particular emphasis on religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among communities, according to reports.
Rev. Fr. Neville Joe Perera, Rev. Fr. Indika Joseph, and Rev. Fr. Dennington Subasinghe were also present at this special meeting.
Meanwhile, Cardinal Ranjith is scheduled to hold further discussions with several senior Vatican officials during the course of his visit.
