According to Navy sources, the operation led to the interception of the two vessels, which are suspected of transporting around 270 kilograms of illicit drugs, including ice (methamphetamine) and heroin.
The Navy confirmed that the two suspect multi-day fishing boats are currently being escorted to shore for further investigations. Legal action is expected to be taken following detailed inspections and inquiries by relevant authorities.
