The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today, during which the Bribery Commission informed court that formal indictments have already been instituted against the suspect at the High Court.
Accordingly, the Magistrate terminated the proceedings pending before the Magistrate’s Court and ordered the suspect, Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, to appear before the Colombo High Court upon receipt of summons.
