Former Ministry Secretary and Director General Anusha Palpita has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption over allegations of failing to disclose income amounting to Rs. 46 million.
Palpita appeared before the Bribery Commission today (23), where his initial statement was recorded. Following the recording of statements, he was taken into custody, the Commission said.
