The Election Commission has announced the list of political parties recognized for election-related activities for the year 2025, under the provisions of Section 7(4)(a) of the Parliamentary Elections Act No. 01 of 1981.
Accordingly, a total of 85 political parties have been officially accepted as recognized political parties by the Election Commission as of now.
The recognition allows these parties to engage in election-related activities in accordance with the law.
