Sri Lanka – European Union hold bilateral talks to strengthen cooperation

On the sidelines of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya held bilateral discussions with European Union Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Síkela.

According to the Prime Minister’s Media Division, the discussions focused on further strengthening cooperation between Sri Lanka and the European Union. Both parties exchanged views on enhancing collaboration in key areas including development, economic engagement, and international partnerships.

The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of Sri Lanka and the EU to deepen their long-standing relationship and work together on initiatives that support sustainable growth and mutual interests.
