Parliament to convene at 9:30 a.m. today (21)

The time from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. has been allocated for parliamentary business under Standing Orders 22 (1) to (6).

From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the House will take up oral questions.

The period from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. has been reserved for questions under Standing Order 27(2).

At 11:30 a.m., a motion will be presented seeking approval to appoint a Special Committee to conduct a comprehensive study on the lack of preparedness to face the recent Dithwa Cyclone, and to submit its findings, proposals, and recommendations to Parliament.

Following this, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Parliament will debate an adjournment motion brought forward by the Opposition regarding the current situation in the country after the Dithwa Cyclone.
