The Sri Lanka Police have announced the introduction of several dedicated telephone numbers to receive public information on drug-related raids planned for implementation in 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Police, the new system will allow the public to directly provide information to Divisional Officers in Charge through modern communication methods regarding narcotics such as heroin, ice (crystal meth), cocaine, and cannabis.
Members of the public can use the designated hotline numbers to report drug-related activities, and the Police have assured that the confidentiality of all information provided will be strictly protected.
