According to the circular, from February 19 to March 21, all Ministry Secretaries and Heads of State Institutions have been instructed to make necessary arrangements to allow Muslim officers to participate in prayers and other religious activities.
Work shifts should be organized in a way that enables officers to perform their religious duties whenever possible. In unavoidable situations, special leave should be approved, the circular states.
The recommended time slots for religious observances are as follows:
3:30 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
In addition, the circular includes instructions regarding the Ramadan festival advance for eligible public servants. The Ministry has directed that the relevant advance payments must be completed 14 days prior to the end of the Ramadan season.
The move aims to ensure that Muslim public servants can observe their religious practices without disruption to official duties.
