Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara says that the Department of Posts earned a revenue of Rs. 13,100 million last year, exceeding the income target set by the Treasury for 2025.
He further stated that several recruitment and permanent appointments were carried out across various services within the Sri Lanka Postal Department during the past year.
Accordingly, in June last year, permanent appointments were granted to 378 Sub-Postmasters.
