President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said the Government has the capacity to rebuild the lives of people affected by recent disasters to a level better than before, with Rs. 500 billion allocated for this purpose in the 2026 Budget.
The President made these remarks on January 9 while attending a programme at the Ridigama Dodamgaslanda Youth Corps Centre in the Kurunegala District.
