The Uva Provincial Director of Education has issued a notice instructing all schools in the Badulla District to take necessary steps to dismiss students and teachers by 11.00 a.m. today (09).
According to the notice, the decision was taken in line with the latest weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Department and a special landslide warning released by the National Building Research Organization (NBRO).
