Sri Lanka’s diplomatic efforts in 2025 strengthened bilateral and multilateral engagement across economic, trade, and political fronts, Minister Herath told the media yesterday.
The Minister highlighted that post-Cyclone Ditwah recovery programs were supported by foreign governments, international development partners, the Sri Lankan diaspora, and friends of Sri Lanka, enabling the country to secure financial, material, and technical assistance.
These diplomatic initiatives have contributed to the growth of key sectors, including tourism and foreign employment, and reinforced Sri Lanka’s global standing.
