The incident occurred in the early hours of today, when the blaze rapidly spread through the house, trapping several occupants inside. The father and daughter succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Four other members of the same family sustained burn injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment. Hospital sources said their condition is being closely monitored.
