Addressing a media briefing in Colombo, the Minister stated that tourist arrivals increased by 15 percent during the year, reflecting a strong recovery in the tourism sector.
He further noted that the country has recorded a surge in new investments in the tourism industry, alongside an increase in foreign worker remittances, contributing positively to the national economy.
