Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa visited the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy this morning to seek blessings.
During the visit, he received blessings from the Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Mahanayake Thero of the Malwatta Chapter, Most Ven. Warakagoda Dhammadassi Sri Pagnananda Gnanarathana Mahanayake Thero of the Asgiriya Chapter, and Most Ven. Keppitiyagoda Siriwimala Anunayake Thero of the Ramanna Nikaya.
The visit took place amid religious observances at the historic temple, which is considered the country’s most sacred Buddhist shrine.
