She confirmed that identity card services will resume as usual from today.
According to the Acting Commissioner General, the disruption occurred yesterday between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. due to a technical malfunction in the system, temporarily halting services.
She further noted that arrangements have been made to send the identity cards that could not be issued during the affected period to the respective applicants via post, ensuring that the inconvenience caused to the public is minimized.
