Police said the suspects were arrested along with six petrol bombs, based on information received by the Western Province North Crime Division.
The suspects include the manager of the establishment, a businessman, three three-wheeler drivers and another individual.
Initial investigations have revealed that the arrested manager is wanted in connection with two cases pending before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court, for which warrants have been issued.
The Western Province North Crime Division is investigations into the incident.
