Train services on Sri Lanka’s Main Railway Line have been disrupted following a derailment near the Meerigama Railway Station, the Department of Railways said.
According to officials, a train traveling from Meerigama towards Colombo derailed in the vicinity of the Meerigama station.
As a result, minor delays to train services along the Main Line are expected, the Department of Railways added.
