An arrest warrant has been issued against Member of Parliament Ramanathan Archchuna after he failed to appear before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court in connection with a case involving the alleged exertion of influence on a police officer while on duty.
Colombo Magistrate Isuru Neththikumara today ordered that MP Archchuna be arrested and produced before court.
He is accused of interfering with the duties of a Colombo Police officer.
