A woman and a young child who were inside the car at the time of the accident sustained injuries. The woman has been admitted to the Kiribathgoda Hospital, while the child was transferred to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital for treatment.
MP Ashoka Ranwala, who was driving the jeep involved in the collision, was also injured and was admitted to the Ragama Hospital.
Police have taken the jeep, the car, and a motorcycle connected to the accident into custody.
The Sapugaskanda Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
