The outage caused temporary disruptions across several key platforms, including interbank ATM transactions, CEFTS fund transfers, LPOPP government payments, JustPay, LankaPay Cards, GovPay, LANKAQR systems, and the LankaSign Digital Certification Authority.
LankaPay confirmed that teams worked promptly to resolve the issue and restore normal operations. The institution also assured users that system stability has returned and that measures are being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
