The National Transport Commission (NTC) has taken disciplinary action against the owner, driver, and conductor of a Monaragala-Colombo bus for putting passengers at risk by traveling through flooded areas in Kumbukkana.
SLTB Chairman Sajeewa Nandana Kanakarathna confirmed that this arrangement will remain in effect until train services resume. He added that the permission does not apply to SLTB luxury bus services.
