The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has urged all drone operators, both commercial and recreational, to avoid flying drones in areas where helicopter and emergency aircraft are operating. The advisory comes as search, rescue, and relief operations continue in disaster-affected regions.
Drone operators engaged in search and rescue (SAR) or other aerial activities are reminded to give way to manned aircraft at all times to ensure the safety and efficiency of emergency flights.
The CAA stressed that cooperation from all drone operators is vital to support national emergency efforts and maintain safe airspace during this critical period.
