The Ministry of Education has confirmed that schools will reopen on December 16 for the final phase of the third school term.
Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewe announced the decision during a special media briefing held today. He noted that the original reopening date of December 08 had been postponed due to the severe disaster situation affecting many parts of the country.
The Ministry stated that the revised date aims to ensure the safety of students and staff as recovery efforts continue across the affected regions.
