Four people have reportedly died in landslides at six locations in the Badulla district due to ongoing adverse weather conditions.
Badulla District Secretary Panduka Abeywardena said that around nine more people are still missing. He added that landslides were reported at multiple locations in the district following heavy rainfall yesterday (26).
Relief teams are continuing their search for the missing persons. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious as the weather remains unstable.
