Sri Lanka Police have warned that a political rally organized by several opposition parties, scheduled to be held in Nugegoda on the evening of November 21, could potentially disrupt Advanced Level examination centers located in the area.
Police stated that many schools in central Nugegoda including Anula Vidyalaya, St. John’s College, St. Joseph’s Balika Vidyalaya, and Samudradevi Balika Vidyalaya will be functioning as examination centers during the rally period. The 2025 A/L Political Science examination is scheduled to be conducted at the same time.
Authorities have informed the rally organizers to ensure that no disturbances occur around these schools. Police further assured that all necessary measures will be taken to protect the examination environment and prevent any disruptions.
