A special discussion between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and MPs of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) was held this afternoon (19) at the Presidential Secretariat.

The meeting, convened at the request of the TNA, focused on the upcoming Provincial Council elections and the ongoing crises in the Northern and Eastern provinces.

TNA MPs also raised several concerns related to recent tensions in the Trincomalee area, emphasizing the need for urgent action to strengthen inter-ethnic reconciliation.
