Addressing the ITN MMC Campus certificate awarding ceremony, the Deputy Minister said that while anyone can produce content online, true journalism requires accuracy, integrity and the promotion of positive values such as justice, equality and gender awareness.
“Simply owning a mobile phone does not make someone a journalist. What matters is the truthfulness of the information shared,” she said.
