Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya praised the ITN MMC Campus as a pioneering institution in multimedia education, highlighting its role in shaping a new generation of broadcasters, digital creators and communication specialists.
Attending the certificate ceremony on November 12, the Prime Minister noted that global creative and digital industries generate over a trillion dollars annually. “Sri Lankan youth are naturally creative. This program gives them the training needed to convert creativity into a livelihood,” she said.
The curriculum covers subjects such as Immersive AI, Big Data, Digital Analytics and Media Technologies, reflecting the growing importance of digital literacy. The Prime Minister said the campus is preparing students to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving media landscape.
