Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent shooting and murder reported in Kotahena, police said. The arrests were made by the Colombo District Crimes Division.
According to the Police, a man and two women who had allegedly aided and abetted the killing were taken into custody at the Chenmani Junction along the A9 road. A motor vehicle and a mobile phone believed to have been used in the incident were also seized.
The suspects are aged between 18 and 33, while the two female suspects are aged between 24 and 26. They are residents of Grandpass and Wellampitiya, police added.
