Jeevan Thondaman to tie the knot in Chennai

Nuwara Eliya District Parliamentarian and General Secretary of the Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC), Jeevan Thondaman, is set to get married on the 23rd of this month.

His bride-to-be is Dr. Seetha Sri Nachchiyar, a resident of Chennai, India. She is also the granddaughter of Arumugam Pillai, a prominent entrepreneur, politician, and philanthropist who is highly respected in both India and Malaysia.

The wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held in Chennai, with invitations extended to a number of high-profile political figures from both Sri Lanka and India. According to CWC sources, former Sri Lankan Presidents Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mahinda Rajapaksa are among the dignitaries invited to attend.

Jeevan Thondaman, aged 31, is the only son of the late former Minister and long-time CWC leader Arumugam Thondaman. Following the ceremony in Chennai, he has planned to host wedding receptions in Colombo and at the CWC headquarters in Kotagala for political colleagues, supporters, and party members.
